Are you running out of Valentine’s Day gifts ideas? #HipNJ‘s Alex Lee and professional food stylist Diane Vezza have you covered.
Diane Vezza, a digital storyteller of food, gave Hip New Jersey some fantastic tips on quick treats for your loved ones on Valentine’s Day…specifically, the bacon lover in your life.
That’s right; you can give your favorite carnivore a bouquet of baked bacon roses! This tasty treat is effortless to make; all you need is bacon, brown sugar, toothpicks, and a few flower stems.
If you’re interested in this treat, then follow the instructions below.
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees, and then bake your roses for thirty to forty minutes till crispy.
- Remove your crisp bacon from the oven, and let it cool off.
- Place your baked bacon roses in a mason jar. You can decorate with pink M&M chocolates at the bottom of the jar to hold your bouquet of baked roses in place. You can also add your own creative touches to make this gift uniquely from you!
Diane’s journey in this industry has been phenomenal and she said, “There is never a dull moment.”
She has had the opportunity to work with culinary stars that has helped and inspired her such as Carla Hall, Tim Love, and Rose Levy to motioned a few. You can find Diane on Instagram here!
