Marley Spoon, the subscription service that owns and operates Martha & Marley Spoon and the Dinnerly meal kits, has been declared an “essential service” business during the COVID-19 crisis and takes this responsibility very seriously.
Marley Spoon is currently experiencing unprecedented demand from customers looking for the delivery of meals that they can cook at home using fresh and quality ingredients in order to limit contact with others. To ensure they are equipped to meet demand, they are currently looking to fill full-time positions in their Newark, New Jersey facility who can start immediately to work in various production areas from order intake, material handling, assembly, and quality control.
It is Marley Spoon’s intention to help those whose lives have been impacted by job loss and to continue to support communities across the US who will be relying on their services during this difficult time. They have also enabled existing customers who have received more than two orders to assist family and friends with the opportunity to send up to 10 free referral boxes containing two meals.
Fabian Siegel, Founder, and CEO of Marley Spoon says: “Sharing healthy, high-quality ingredients with the Marley Spoon community is a privilege and a responsibility I take seriously. Because of this, the health, quality, and safety of our products, employees, and community is—and will continue to be—our top priority.”
In a time where many workers in areas like hospitality, travel and the arts are being displaced due to forced closure, #HipNJ encourages people to apply to join their team via their Careers page.
