No one has “screen presence” like a Jersey girl! New Jersey’s own Bernice Vanderpool will appear on the hit game show “Let’s Make A Deal” this Wednesday, June 24th.
Vanderpool is a mother and student at Trinity Law School residing in Jersey City, NJ. Her appearance on “Let’s Make A Deal” will see her plucked right out of the audience by host Wayne Brady!
“Let’s Make A Deal” sees members of the audience selected by the host to participate. This interactive format gives anyone the opportunity to play and win.
The host offers a contestant—called a “trader”—something of value, such as a cash prize. The contestant has the option of either taking the offer and leaving, or risking “trading” for a mystery prize.
The “trader” might win something even better than the first offer, like a home entertainment system or a vacation. However, they may also get “zonked”—finding that what they traded for was a useless gag prize, such as a fake car or ugly furniture.
Bernice’s appearance on “Let’s Make A Deal” was filmed before the coronavirus outbreak in the US.
The Emmy-award winning game show has run in various forms since 1963, and is currently on CBS. Tune in this Wednesday to cheer Bernice on!
