We had talented artists Alaina Antonicello & Courtney Rose from Blush Brides come into the #HipNJ studio to talk to Lisa Marie Latino about their fantastic Halloween makeup!
October is a popular time of year for Antonicello and Rose. Blush Brides gets more clients that ask about Halloween and loyal customers that come back to get all done up for this season. Rose gave us some insight on her makeup specialty. About a year ago she enhanced her skills and since then has gotten so much better, learning more about liquid latex and how to improve the spooky and creepy looks she creates. Her practicing sure paid off as her and Antonicello walked us through their dead Marie Antoninette look.
For hair, they used extensions to attach onto real hair, also adding a roller and sock bun to get the ultimate tall built up hairstyle. For makeup, they used special effects with how they cut around the neck. To start, they added a basic white face paint with pink eyeshadow and normal eyelash extensions. For the neck, they applied layers of toilet paper and latex. When layered, they both become plastic so they were able to cut it and put blood all over it so make the cut look deeper.
