FARSÁLI | far·sal·ee | Noun
A hybrid beauty brand that bridges the gap between makeup and skincare. With powerful technology, innovative ideas, and a cruelty-free commitment, its buzzed-about products can stand alone to nurture skin, or fit seamlessly into your makeup routine.
We’ve all seen beauty bloggers featuring their makeup looks using facial oils with gold and pink serums, but have you ever asked yourself what the hype is? Let me introduce you to Farsáli.
Farsáli hit the internet in 2015 with a really innovative product that started a long-lasting trend: Rose Gold Elixir ($54), a facial oil infused with 24K gold. This beauty oil deeply nourishes the skin and mixes well with foundation for seamless application. Having specks of 24K gold in skincare helps slow down collagen depletion, brightens the complexion, and calms down your skin as gold has anti-inflammatory properties.
Another buzzed-about product is Unicorn Essence ($54), my all-time favorite makeup primer. It’s pink with a beautiful shimmer, smells like a cupcake, and keeps my makeup on all day long. It’s packed with antioxidants, giving your skin a healthy glow and plump look. They recently launched the Unicorn Antioxidant Lip Mask ($20), which is loaded with super fruits Goji Berry, Acai, Blueberry and Elderberry. This combination gives your lips restoration thanks to Vitamin C and Resveratrol. It smells like cupcakes, too, and I really wish it was edible…
Next up is Skintune Blur ($54), a blurring and perfecting serum. My go-to when I don’t feel like wearing foundation. I smooth a dime-size amount all over my face and am ready to go. I set this with their fairly new Rose Gold Skin Mist ($39) – made up of the same ingredients in the Rose Gold Elixir, but in spray form, which keeps my skin hydrated and glowing without looking oily.
On days that I’m going for ultra-glam, I incorporate Liquid Glass ($54). Liquid Glass is a radiance serum that gives your skin a glass look (glass skin is a trend that I am here for) and doesn’t leave your skin looking oily – just bright and glowing.
To really hone in on my skincare routine, Haldi Eyes ($40), a turmeric-based eye cream, has diminished my dark circles and even acts as a base for my concealer #WINNING! Hydration Bae ($62 – part of the brand’s exclusive line: privé) means exactly what it’s called: HYDRATE BEFORE ANYONE ELSE! This antioxidant-infused gel contains beads loaded with Hibiscus Oil, providing your skin with an insane amount of hydration to soothe, plump, and even-out your skin’s texture (apply before makeup or use alone at bedtime). I’ve written about this one in a few other posts as it’s one of my favorites: Volcanic Elixir ($39) is the one beauty oil that has completely evened-out my skin tone, reduced its redness, has kept acne away, and has even healed the eczema on my fingers! It is 100% Polynesian Tamanu Oil, which comes from the Tamanu fruit that’s properties contain minerals from the volcanic ash-infused soil.
I can’t end this post without showing some love for Jellybeam, a jelly highlighter packed with shimmer and glow. As I was writing this, I received an email notification from Farsáli stating that Jellybeam is leaving the family (yes, I stocked up on all three colors…). DEVASTATED to see this one go, but I’m sure the brand’s founder, Sal, has something else up his sleeve.
I love every single product that Farsáli has released and will forever show my love and support. Not only do these products enhance your makeup, but they keep your skin healthy. All of them are mixable to help create different looks and support different issues. Remember: if your skin is not in good condition, neither will your makeup. Follow them on Instagram and follow their CEO / Founder Sal Ali . Sal is unlike any other product creator: he’s extremely humble and kind, and often shares a ton of knowledge and background on how he got started (it’s a LOVE STORY!). I hope his and Farsáli’s journey inspires you as much as it does me.
Disclaimer: I was not paid to write about Farsáli and was not sent any products for free in exchange for a post. I have purchased all of these products on my own and this is my honest review.
