#HipNJ’s Vanessa Coppes got a chance to sit down and talk with Cheryl Devine who is the CEO and founder of D’Vine Consulting, a business that sets out to help other companies by implementing methods and practices that will make sure they are compliant with labor legislative frameworks. The services offered include payroll management, employment equity, industrial relations and human resources for any parties needing assistance in those areas.
Devine started this company up in 2017 although she had plenty of experience within the workforce beforehand. Unfortunately, back fusion surgery and the raising of her two children kept her from doing what she loved for some time. After rehab, she realized that she wanted to get back to doing what she loved, and this included publishing, marketing and sales.
Creating these services for other companies can easily help expand their horizons and keep them functional in the long run. When asked about what most excites her about her career comeback and business, Devine replied with, “What most excites me is working with people, I’m a true people person. I’m very excited about meeting new companies and sitting down with them and learning about what they do and how to improve what they do. I really want to get to know my clients.”
